It’s amazing that just one day after Red-breasted Mergansers came flying in in droves, not a single one was in sight. I did see a new species, though. Walking in a field near Kærup Holme were four Curlews (Numenius arquata), which is a new species to me. I also got a couple of better Crane photos (Grus grus). Apart from that, there was the usual species.



Jesper Broe is a photography enthusiast with more than 10 years experience. He is a full member of the Danish Onithological Association and specialises in nature photography, aircraft and historic photos. Jesper works exclusively in the digital format.
